In 2013, Christoph Gelfand and Caroline Losneck set out to document buildings in Portland, Maine that were set to be demolished or repurposed for new developments. They captured both imagery and sounds that embodied the soul of each space. Ten years later the series continues. These videos were made to convey a complicated moment in time for a rapidly growing seacoast town as it reckons with being a destination city.
